SheWORKiTS and IndigoPathway announce their partnership to support community members in finding fulfilling jobs.
SheWORKiTS is a freelance website/app designed to serve women and mothers who are returning citizens, have experienced domestic violence and the homeless. They offer immediate paying freelance opportunities to help steer women in financial need away from high-priced loans and turning back to crime. The team at WORKiTS is made up of everyday people from Dallas, Texas, who have experienced a financial crisis before and appreciate the difficulties mothers and women face when they work hard but barely earn a living wage. This unique perspective gives them an extra edge when serving others facing similar situations. As a result of living it, they created a digital freelance platform that allows individuals to choose when and where they work and how much they want to earn!
With the help of IndigoPathway, the SheWORKiTS HT3 program (Help Today and Train for Tomorrow) can assist women in understanding what makes them unique, discovering what their purpose is and where exactly they shine. Then SheWORKiTS arms them with free training and certifications needed to earn a healthier and more joyful income. Through our partnership with IndigoPathway, we plan to expand the wages of the more than 26 million women freelancers in the United States by raising their earning potential because we believe that women are the building blocks of society!
About SheWORKiTS: As we enter into the new freelance economy, we believe women, mothers, women returning citizens, women escaping domestic violence and homeless women should have an equal share of opportunities and wages. One of our goals is to strengthen earnings by providing free training and certifications. Additionally, we developed an app and website that are easy to use and has lower fees. With SheWORKits, women and mothers will have an equal chance to earn a living wage by freelancing today, and in the future.
