The Computer-Aided Design & Drafting
Program at Remington College
The Computer-Aided Design & Drafting (CADD) program combines creativity and precision to help prepare students to create buildings, mechanical devices, electrical systems and more with AutoCAD software. CADD projects feature interesting design and drafting challenges with a lot of variety: as the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) notes, CAD drafting technicians design plans “to build everything from microchips to skyscrapers”.*
Combine artistry with precision and hands-on workmanship using AutoCAD and modern technology for a challenging, yet rewarding CADD career. True to the hands-on nature of computer-aided design and drafting, our CADD program emphasizes practical experience and skills.

Hands-On
Learning
Lecture halls and endless book assignments aren’t for everyone, and at Remington College we recognize that not all students learn the same way, which is why our classes tend to focus on hands-on more than hands-off learning.
Experienced
Instructors
We hire faculty members who have worked in the field you’re studying. This means that what you learn in class won’t just be out of a book; you’ll get the benefit of your instructors’ industry experience, insights, and first-hand knowledge.
Support
Focused
At Remington College, we get to know you as an individual – how you get to and from school, your work schedule and availability, and your goals after graduation. Our support teams offer you their services every step along the way.
